The Gifted Haus — Return & Refund Policy

At The Gifted Haus, we take great pride in our handmade, small-batch food products and artisan creations. Because each item is produced with care and often made to order, our return and refund policy varies by product type. This policy applies to all orders placed through our website, online storefronts, and marketplaces.

1. Food Products (Jellies, Pickles, Syrups, Infusions)

Because of food safety regulations, all edible products are final sale and cannot be returned.

If your food order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will offer one of the following based on the situation:

  • A replacement shipment

  • A partial or full refund

  • A store credit

Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for review.

2. Non-Food Items (Artisan Gifts, Succulents, Seasonal Décor, Styled Accents)

Eligible for return or exchange within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify, items must be:

  • Unused

  • Undamaged

  • Returned in original packaging

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or was sent in error.

Refunds for eligible returns will be issued once the item is received and inspected.

3. Gift Wrapping & Styling Services

Service fees are non-refundable once performed.

Cancellations

  • 72+ hours before appointment: Full refund

  • Less than 72 hours: Deposit or service fee is non-refundable

4. Custom, Event, & Specialty Orders

All custom work—including gift wrapping packages, bulk orders, holiday wrapping, and event styling—requires a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance is due before delivery or event date.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event forfeit the full deposit.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

We cannot provide refunds for:

  • Shipping delays caused by carriers

  • Weather-related delays

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Events outside our control

6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, or defective, please notify us within 48 hours with photos so we can resolve the issue promptly.

7. Cancellations of Standard (Non-Custom) Orders

Orders for non-custom items may be canceled before they are shipped. Once an order has been packaged or shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
